I am studying psychology , and my career have much implications in many areas of the society, the psychology can be used in different fields, is like that in the aspect that you look, the psychology can speak something.

The society has many problems. For example the people are very complex, a human is constructed by a great quantity of social and biology factors, and when one factor fail, the persons can be affected in other areas in his life.

My discipline is very interesting, because constant it faces new challenges. This challenges is determined for the needs of the society, this needs always change. Depend of the time, the culture, economic factors, etc.

The psychology facing a problem very important, inside the discipline; “The psychological phenomena”. With the birth of natural’s sciences, a important part of the discipline has tried to explain the social reality objectively. This is a fail because the social no can be understand objectively, because the society is constituted of subjective form. With the development of different ways of approaching the human mind we will be able to have major knowledge on this one.

The technology helps very much to the learning of the psychologists on the human mind, and does it of great way in the area of the processes and cerebral functions. Without the help of the modern machines that realize this work, the comprehension of this area had been much slower.

In the educational area I believe that the psychology must help in the integration of the students with problems of learning in his schools. Generally the person who has some disability to learn is left behind of that if they can go to the pace of study for that they ask them. I believe that there should be psychologists in all the primary schools to help these children not to still have him behind. Even I believe that it should them teach of more exhaustive form in order that they could take a good pace of learning. In addition the psychologists in the colleges would help in the social relations that the children begin to do when they are small.

About the area of social matters I think that there is a great quantity of matters in which the psychology can help in the problems that the society has, as the stress, the problems of drug addiction, addictions, mental disorders and a great number of problems. The social work is where more they need psychologists.

The Money

Well... sometimes, I hate the money, other times I love the money!! Depend if I have money. Generally I think that the money is a necessary badly; maybe the money only is useful to separate the people and about this case I think that it's bad.

I'm bad with the money, I think that this can be for that I can't work, because I have that to study, to study takes me time, and the time that I have for me, I prefer useful to other thing, I need time to my expenses, to my friends, To amuse myself, for my family. Is true that the time is money, I like have money, but I prefer the time…

Now my parents give me money to my bills, but the next year I will live alone, with my best friend, then I will work to pay my bills, I will be independent! I hope.

This scare me, but this day must come!

When I live alone, I will manage my money, I will learn to organize me, and organize my money. For this I think that the schools should teach how manage money, to the children can take responsibility since young age.

I use the bank to keep my money. When I was little my father opened me an account in the bank to that I keep my savings. Later I spent my money, but I did not return to guard nevermore. I don't like the banks, but I believe that I will have to use them when it has expenses that to do and sufficient money doesn't have.

It's difficult for me to guard the money. When I have money I spend it very quickly. Generally I buy food, especially juices, sandwiches and chocolates. And when I have a bit more of money I occupy it in immediate pleasures, as buying clothes or any thing, but I don't buy myself many things that are useful for me in the future

Finally I believe that the money is an important tool in these times, but that is in use badly and creates many problems and inequities. It's necessary to to use well if it's had, and never turn it into a problem for the others, and in a date as consumer as this one, near the Christmas.

My University

I think that my University is very good in some aspects. For example the teachers are very qualified and know it brings over of what they teach, though sometimes they give a lot of works. The places to rest are changed and can share one with his friends in these places. In addition baths exist in all the levels and rooms of computation to do works as this one.

But on the latter part I believe that there are problems, because when one needs to do works in individual form or in group and needs to use the computers, this are full of people who devotes herself to do the same thing and who they came before. And though two rooms of computation exist to work, sometimes they deal for classes and therefore the use of the computers is restricted only for the people who is in this class, which it makes difficult to work if one has to do a rapid work or lives very far from the university or don´t have Internet in his house to send the works.

Because of it I believe that to solve this problem there should be more rooms of computation and that in these classes are not realized and this way not to lose the pace of the work or not to be slow. I would like that not be impressed so many guides or readings, since it generates an enormous waste of paper, or if not to have a printer in the rooms and that it works correctly, because in the rooms that exist now they do not work very well or are not and are very necessary.

With these measures I believe that we might do a suitable and satisfactory use of the rooms of computation and to may realize well the works. I think that this is very important to my university and my classmates.

Vegetarian food
I love to eat, I love everything related to the food, to my the time to eat is very important, because to eat is a need to the human body beside is a great pleasure, to my I can never be absent the food, I hate to be hungry, it is something very horrible, also I like to eat because generally it is something that I do with my family, and it is a moment to share with they.
I am vegetarian, because I think that any life is sacred, and when I decide this I star to look new recipes, and I found a variety of delicious things that I never imagined. It was a wonderful choice. Now I worry more know that I eat, and I take care of my nutrition, compensating the need of protein.
Well I like any kind of the vegetables, the cereals, I like the beans and the mushrooms, and especially I like the spaghetti with mushrooms and paprika, this when I want to have lunch but generally I enjoy much the sweet things, I love the pie, the fruit, my favorite fruit is the banana, but I am not demanding, I like the whole fruit, except the grapefruit. I love to eat anything that not are meat, now I hate the meat, disgusts me!
Well, I would like teach you delicious recipes. Vegetarian obviously, to that everybody discover the great quantity of appetizing food that exist.

Music

I would like to speak about music, because the music have a lot of positive qualities, for example to listen music be can to activated the neuronal system, a this can help you to relax you. Some women listen music to stimulate the mind of the baby when they are pregnant. Well, I like all kinds of music, but I love the trova. I love the instruments, the voices and the style.

Now I have been interested very much for Silvio Rodriguez, I think that his songs are very beautiful, before I liked them the song that everyone know, for example “the blue unicorn” or “ojalá”, but now that I know more about Silvio and his songs, I love the song “this pring”. This song speak about the time that seems more slowly when we waits for something important, and about the “time that delays in coming the spring”, is very beautiful.

I think that I listen all songs of Silvio, but I have not given sufficient attention to all songs, are to much!! I would like listen other troubadours, for example, Joan Manuel Serrat, Joaquin Sabina, and emergent troubadours like Chinoy or his brother Caskivano.

The music is very important in my life. I hope that in your lives they don´t lack this.

transantiago

All speak about transantiago, the people invent many things, for example that the companies of transport is in the bankruptcy, it in the ruin, that they owe money to the state or that somebody obtained much money with the implementation of the transantiago, but what is true? I don’t know, but I think that the companies of transport is like any other company, that it aspire to obtain lot money for the minor cost, but this minor cost carries much problem to people that live in Santiago.
The pre-transantiago system was not much better that the transantiago, before also the buses were full and we were entering to pressure, this was very dangerous because we could fall in any moment. Now the buses not can go with the opened doors, and just stop in the bus stop.

Is easy to criticize, but is very hard to propose new ideas to improve the transantiago system. However I think that the transport system must to be administered by the state, not a private company. If the state handling the public transport the things would change, I thing…
Well the public transport is very important, because the persons we use the collective locomotion are (the most part) person of the socioeconomic low level, because the other person can used the car, for this I thing that the state should do something.

I would like go to Italia, because always I felt a loudly attraction for this country. I think that Europe is a continent very important, very interesting and with a grand cultural patrimony, I want know Roma, and know more about Roman Empire, about brave heroes and histories of war, you not think that I like the war, no! I prefer the peace, obviously.

Also I would want learn Italian because I love this idiom! I love it because I like the romantic Italian music, I would like understand that say; understand the histories of the songs. Well later of to travel and to visit all museum and all touristic place, I would like work in anything, I prefer work in area that I studied, psychology, but if I not cant, not is important, for my the important is to travel and know and new culture. However I not would live forever in Italia, I would like return to home, and any persons think that to return is the better moment, that when we return to home we value more the thing that we have, the family, the friends, the neighborhood, including the curious old woman. I thing that to travel help us to open the mind.

Hello!!

My name is Herminda Avalos, but I prefer to be called Minda. I´m a student of second year of Psychology from the Chilean University. I choose this career because allows me to be able to help others with his problems and to understand the human behavior.

The career of Psychology I learned to identificate some illness like the schizophrenia and the depression. Also I learned that the persons are very determined by the social context. Everything what we are actually is a set of external factors to us and that we have acquired with socialize with another people.

The things that I do in my free time... the truth is that I don´t have a lot of free time, but when I have I use to be with my boyfriend, my friends and my family. When I can I am going to trot with my mom. Also I like to listen music, read books and this type of things.

This semester is less complicated than the previous one, but I had to learn to organize my time and not to amuse in silly things me or to be relaxing so much.

Well. This one was my presentation. I hope to be able to learn many things in this English class because this one is other of my difficulties.
